Valentine IV, CFA
Manager and President
William L. Valentine
IV, CFA is the Manager, President and Chief Investment Officer of Valentine Ventures, LLC ("VVLLC"),
a Wealth Management firm for affluent investors. Bill has worked in virtually
every aspect of investment management including security analysis, portfolio management,
securities trading, management, marketing, and client services. His expertise is in
developing and managing customized investment portfolios for a wide variety of individuals
using global stocks, bonds, and alternative assets. He is also a syndicated
radio talk show host and investment columnist and his
comments about the investment markets frequently appear in print and on TV
and radio.
Bill was born and raised in Minneapolis,
Minnesota. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Finance from the University of Arizona. Bill
previously worked for the investment firms of Piper Jaffray & Hopwood, E.F. Hutton
& Co., and Fisher Investments. In 1993, The CFA
Institute awarded Bill the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA)
designation upon successful completion of examinations covering a broad Body of
Knowledge. This designation is shared by most leading analysts and investment managers,
and sets the standard for investment analysis and portfolio management. Immediately prior
to founding VVLLC, Bill was the Senior VP/Portfolio Manager of the Private Client Group of
Fisher Investments, Inc., where he oversaw $230 million for individuals and was one of the
firms shareholders.

on News/Talk 1110 KBND in Central
Oregon, and on NewsRadio 750 KXL broadcast in Portland, OR. The show is about accumulating, saving, and growing
wealth, and developing a lifestyle rich in the things money can't
buy. From
1997 to 2000, Bill wrote an investment column under the title
The InvestMentor.
It was syndicated to many of the leading online financial
portals including America Online, Quicken.com,
Excite.com, Yahoo! Finance,
ON24 and
MultexInvestor.
His comments routinely appear in articles from The Wall
Street Journal, Barron's, CNN Money, Reuters, CNBC, CBS Marketwatch,

Bills support of his communities has led to seats on

Bill lives with his wife Jessica, four sons,
Lindsay, Callan, Tate, and Perry, and their
German Shorthair, Shotzi, and Wirehair, Sage, in Bend, Oregon.

Kirby Kleinsmith
Financial Planning
Kirby
was born in Oregon City, Oregon. In 1990, Kirby graduated from
Oregon State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Economics and a
second Bachelor's Degree in Agricultural Resources Economics.
Kirby
has been in the financial services industry since 2000, starting
with Edward Jones as an investment representative and most recently
with Irwin Investment, LLC as a co-owner. In addition to
giving investment advice, he has been providing financial planning
services for his own clients as well as for other advisors during
this time.
He
summarizes the financial planning process as "a convergence of
current and future financial situation to the goals of the client."
Kirby equates a person's financial planner to having a personal
Chief Financial Officer. He will sit for the Certified
Financial Planner examination in November, 2006.
Kirby
is married with two children. He is a certified ski instructor
and enjoys hiking and skiing with his family.
